Biography I started taking pictures with a SRL in high school. I minored in art in college taking a lot of photography courses and doing a lot of darkroom work. I still develop my own B&W film. I started off with a Minolta X-GM and used that until I reluctantly went to digital. I shoot with a Nikon D700, IR converted D70 and Canon Powershot G12. Recently I have gone back to almost exclusively shooting film. I wasn't able to capture the feeling and look I wanted with digital. I shoot mostly with black and white film. I feel like I think and see scenes in terms of textures and tones rather than colors. I use my Nikon Rangefinders and XGM mainly for street photography. I really enjoy shooting medium format also. I'm always on the lookout for vintage cameras to add to my collection.I shoot a lot with my son now, we have a great time together.
